Delicious food, pleasant staff, and reasonably priced large portions. I usually get the half rack and have never had meatier, juicier, tastier ribs anywhere. Every time I'm in Fort Wayne this place is a must eat.

The worst rib tips I have had in a long time. Monday night, dry crusty ribs with a modicum of sauce and some kind of hot spice sprinkled on to make them "hot". Got a take out from the bar. Heard the bartender discussing tonsilectomys and good bargins on kids clothing with another patron at the bar. A real social hour going on. Wheel of fortune blaring in the background. Plastic beer glasses were probably a good idea if you are used to serving root beer to kids. Not a good experience all around. Place was clean, but food pretty mediocre at best. Doubtful I would ever need to come back, considering there plenty of better places for ribs. Ziffles, your time has passed.

I like their hot BBQ sandwiches at lunch. It's shaved instead of pulled meat. Their BBQ sauce is balanced and they make it hot with chili powder. I eat there often. The food is quick for lunch, but the food and service is inconsistent, preventing them from getting 5 stars.

For the non-rib eaters, this place is still a really good choice. Every dish I have ordered has been delicious. I like their grinders, pizzas, and fish sandwich basket. Downsides: too many tables for a small area, cold in the restaurant, and I've had two or three times where the waitresses have been snobby. (Maybe they were having bad days.) Conclusion: one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Wayne--- not based off the ribs.

We've been eating here since they opened a couple decades ago, and the food has been amazing since day one. Their rib sauce is one of the best I've ever had and the meat is always cooked perfectly. The sausage rolls are delicious, garlic bread is so good and I can put away a whole plate of the cheese fries myself. I've never eaten anything I didn't like from this restaurant. The owners are so nice (and they're usually there working the restaurant). This place gets packed quick, so you could wait in line a while before getting a table, but it is more than worth it! (For those who don't want to wait, they do take-out, which is what we usually do.)

The best ribs in Fort Wayne. Expect to wait on a Friday or Saturday night!
(5)Brittany N.
my grandparents eat here alot.. i can assume since the waitress knew them when we walked in. Its a small place.. not very many tables, so you will have to wait if you dont get their early for dinner.. We all shared a slab of ribs, for an appetizer, and they were fantastic! we had a pizza for dinner. and it was so good. it had sooo much cheese. and the sausage was great ! and i really loved the crust! overall it was great.. i would go back for sure

Great place to satisfy your BBQ mood. I'm a several time repeat customer.....Rib snack + Zifflebolli = 2 meal Happy Corey!!

Been to Ziffles several times and the food is always amazing. However the wait is sometime horrible if you have a larger party. Several times we have went with 5 or 6 people and had to wait over an hour. This wouldnt be a huge problem, but we were told the wait was only 30-45 minutes.

What can i say? Fabulous food, service, and prices. Absolutely love this place and can't wait to go back. Had the pulled-pork sandwich; going to try the chicken next time. They could use a new pig statue outside of the front door. Poor guy is missing some parts.

Whenever we are in Fr. Wayne - eating here is always on our list :) DELICIOUS!!! This time on Sept. 23, 2014 my dad was celebrating is 100 th birthday --- all the Ziffles staff and customers sang Happy Birthday to him --- and gave him a delicious cupcake --- just want to tell Ziffles Thank You!!!

The BEST ribs in Fort Wayne!! Hands down! Again, it is cramped in here, but it doesn't bother you when you get your delicious baby backs!!

Getting good BBQ is rare, it's either really dry or has no flavor but Ziffle's blew my mind. It's a small place in a strip mall next to Kroger in Georgetown square. I ordered the fried pickle spears to start with and they were so good! They didn't fall apart when you cut them or bit into them. They have $1.00 bud light, Budweiser and amber bock, that's right I said $1.00! There smaller glasses but a pint is available for $3. For dinner I got the rib basket that comes with fries and garlic bread. I got my fries with cheese on them which had cheddar, mozzarella and Parmesan and was given ranch to dip them in! It was enough food for an army. The service was excellent and had great conversation with our waitress who suggested items on the menu. If your in Fort Wayne, stop by this bargain gem. Friendly, everything was made to order, local and I left so full I had to be rolled out the door.

My husband and I have frequented Ziffles for years and have never been disappointed! Excellent in all respects!
(5)Bryan C.
Great food, not kid friendly. High chairs were all broken and servers were not very friendly to our daughter even though it wasn't very busy. Food was good enough we may carry out though in the future
(3)Heather S.
So freakin good!!! I love love love this place. Huge servings and friendly service. Of course you must get the ribs and I love the pulled pork sandwich too. The fries are awesome as well. They have a big roll of paper towel in the middle of the table to soak up the extra BBQ sauce. It can be busy on the weekend and there is usually a wait. But the weekdays you can get a table pretty quickly. The owner is very nice and keeps the restaurant in top shape.

I have been coming here since I was younger and the food never falters to appease my taste buds. Everything on the menu is delicious and I can blame this restaurant for my beautiful thighs. Interesting fact: During the Sunny and Cher tour back in the day they both had a meal here. That was before it was Ziffles, but STILL! Cool fact!

Came on a Saturday evening around 6pm, had to wait in an over crowded tiny waiting area for 45 minutes when we were told twenty to thirty minutes of wait time. The hostesses were also serving as waitresses, clearing tables, and were carrying out a number of of many other responsibilities. The hostess could not even stand at the hostess stand because of the crowd, and many parties had a difficult time finding her since she was not in place and was frequently completing other responsibilities. Someone at our table ordered a half of chicken BBQ salad... Unfortunately, the chicken on it was raw (see posted picture). Kindly, the waitress informed the manager, who came to the table, apologized, and said he would take the cost of the salad off our tab. In addition, he went above and beyond the call of duty by offering to pay for our beer. The ribs are quite delicious and come off the bone pretty easily. When you order a rib basket, the fries are served under the ribs and soak up the succulent BBQ sauce, which comes in mild, medium, and hot. For our entire dining experience this evening, the four of us were in and out of Ziffle's in 1 hour and forty five minutes. The accommodations are quite cramped and the overall service could definitely use an upgrade. However, if you have some extra time and are in the mood for some pretty good BBQ ribs, it may be worth the wait. Just for your knowledge, this was my third time coming to this dining establishment. This was the only time someone in our party received raw chicken on their salad, but the service and cramped quarters were comparable to our other visits.

You know what Yelp? I am "a fan". While heading out of the Fort (and trying to scour the local Kroger for some awesome deals) my fiance and I decided to grab a quick bite before heading back to the motherland (i.e. Chicago). And of course, we checked out their Yelp Rating on my app before even considering stopping in. While the exterior is dive-y (they have a statue of a hog outside... but it's missing both of it's ears -- so it actually took us a minute to figure out what animal it was...) the interior dining area was actually quite nice. (The bathrooms though, not so much.) I had their Rib Tip Lunch Special, and Andy had their Sandwich of the Day Lunch Special (Which was a Pork Sandwich). While I LOVED the Rib Tips (Super Moist, meaty, tender, and well sauced) Andy did not enjoy his singular slice of "deli-ham" on a giant mediocre roll. The waitress was super friendly, the price was right, and the Rib Tips made it for me. P.S. On Tuesdays they have a Rib Tip Special they won't tell you about it... but it exists. Check this place out. Seriously. Rib Tips. End. Of. Story.

Best Ribs in Fort Wayne!! The best is the ribs and chicken basket...I always get the hot bbq on the side and makes a nice combo. My kids who are picky eaters love this place. And it smells great!
(5)Dale B.
Best ribs in Fort Wayne IMHO! The prices are good. The service is okay. The facilities are okay. It's definitely a unique place to go in Fort Wayne that is worth a visit!

Dim street lights, people hanging around in front of the liquor store on the corner for no obvious reason. That is a sketchy block Have you sort of noticed that some of the best places for ribs are sort of like this? Traditionally well cooked slowly inside a wood fire smoked grill? I feel that you have to give up very little in quality, to feel confident parking and walking to and from, your car at this place. They are not allowed to have a grill to cook their ribs on, but have to get by finishing then on a pizza type cooker conveyor? (The kind you put them in one end, they come out on the other). The office has been looking for some place different to have lunch in the Georgetown area because we have basically eaten at the majority of the establishments worth eating at in the area. It was time to find a place we haven't been to and Ziffle's fit the bill! A fellow co-worker suggested this place, but also warned that it has been a hit and miss the last few times he has been there. What kind of Yelper would I be if I passed up an opportunity to try a new place? Anyway, I'm glad that I had lunch here and will do so again (and again). I went with the rib tip lunch that included fries and Cole slaw. There was no question that I would have hot BBQ sauce which I found to be flavorful and quite hot/spicy. At Ziffle's Rib Bar (food price's are going up), I won't have lunch here every single day, but will do so on occasion that I find myself in the area.

Great place for meaty ribs and large portions. Ribs reminded me of those my family took us to in Momence, Illinois called Charlie's Restaurant which is long gone. Main dining room was filled on a Saturday eve but we were seated back in the bar room which is actually more quiet than in the bustling dining room. Nothing fancy about this place, just good ribs and such!
(4)Brian L.
I didn't get the signature ribs but I did get the grinder. For the price it was fantastic. For around 9 bucks I got a drink, fries, and a decent sized delicious grinder. The grinder was a little bit greasy but I didn't mind at all. Actually the grease from the grinder got into my fries and made them taste great. Check this place out - for the price it's a gem.

The ribs at Ziffle's are the best in Fort Wayne. I've tried just about everything and nothing compares to the fall-off-the-bone rib's served here. Pizza and sausage rolls are great too. They do have some problems with service though. When my roommate and I go, we have to drive all the way from one side of Ft Wayne to the other, so we usually order some extra stuff to take home for the next day. They ALWAYS (3 times now, so just sorta hyperbole) forget to put this order in, and we end up waiting an extra hour to get the stuff. Very annoying. We order from WOW sometimes too, but the wait is forever, and due to the distance, it gets rather expensive. It might sound like I'm complaining, but any complaints are drowned out by the awesomeness of the product. They should open a second one out SW Allen.

Best ribs around, I've traveled the country and haven't found any better yet!!!
(5)Sam S.
The barbecue sauce is great! The only thing that the chicken and rib combo is missing is an extra shot of sauce on top.
(4)Chuck B.
A family favorite since this place opened. The added seating when they opened the bar has been a welcome addition! BBQ heaven for the rib lover and equally tasty chicken!! Pizza, sausage rolls and sandwiches will never disappoint you. Family friendly with excellent and personable service. Prices are equal to very very good tasting food! Old saying, you get what you pay for, you'll never feel cheated here!!
(5)Don C.
Best ribs in ft wayne. Very busy place. Plan to wait. Hot r very hot...but good.
(5)Donna G.
I have tried BBQ all over and nothing is better than Kansas City, Missouri's but if you are in Fort Wayne, IN and you love ribs...this will give anyone's BBQ a run for their money. The ribs are meaty and have a wonderful taste that you will crave once you have had them. The ambience is informal and most customers pick up their meals in a sack at the carry out window.
(5)Narongsak H.
Being from las Vegas, a city of pre fabrication I can appreciate a place like this. The sausage roll is to die for!!! Full roll is way too much for one person though!!!!
(5)Brad H.
Great BBQ & Pizza. Eat in the Bar. Very informal, but very friendly and always entertaining. I love the Pulled Pork Sandwich. It's HUGE and almost melts in your mouth. If you order it HOT, it will melt your mouth!
(5)Mya S.
Excellent ribs. I was in Fort Wayne for work this place had good reviews. I had the fried mac and cheese as an appetizer, which were nothing to write home about... but the ribs and fries were great! Service gets a 10. Friendly staff.

What can I say about Ziffle's that hasn't been said?!?!? I worked there for almost 5 years and loved every minute. The family that owns it, The Dennis family is by far the nicest family you'll meet in town and they'll go the distance to make sure you're happy:) If you're wanting ribs... Go for the half slab! You can't go wrong and you can take some home:) if you don't like spicy stick with mild, you have to try their medium at least once... Once you do... You'll never go back, unless you're into hot, go for the cayenne pepper HOT. The rib tips are meaty and hearty and yummy. I personally loved to mix my fries with rib tip meet and that made an awesome forkful. If you want a sandwich you really can't go wrong with anything! The pulled pork is huge and you'll end up using a fork. The roast pork is awesome and is my boyfriends personal favorite. The ham and cheese is amazing and light... Ask them to put medium sauce on it for the perfect kick and the veggieboli and it's amazing feta cheese is the next best thing to a salad ;) oh their salads! The house salad dressing is flavorful and I crave it even after all these years, make sure they mix it up for you or if you take it for carry out put the dressing on and shake it in the box. The appetizers are amazing, yes all of them. The bruschetta pizza will never let you down as well as the cheese fries and pickles. I'm not a big sausage lover but the rolls that come out of that oven are hugeeee! Even the half rolls are monstrous. My favorite roll was a pepperoni roll with mozzarella and onions and green peppers. It was so greasy but it was my go to after many hot nights working in that kitchen. This place has been around for a while and people still keep coming back... As do I!! If you need a little piece to take home... Ask for a pint of sauce and stick it in your fridge... That sauce is addicting and you will never get the recipe so don't ask! :) love my Ziffles

Always good food. Great selection. The Hog Trough is delicious. The bbq is always good. The rest of the menu has always been spot on. Great lunch place for meetings too.
(5)Adam H.
Portion size is good, price is good, & staff was friendly. I stopped in on my way to South Bend. I had ordered the combo basket (1/4 ribs & 1/4 chicken), my better half ordered the zifboli, & my uncle ordered the pulled pork. My meal was bbq in the terms it had bbq sauce on it. There was no smoke flavor, meat had an ok taste. My better half barely ate hers, she said the sausage was like dog food. My uncle finished his meal, but said it was lackluster. This place was ok, but there are other options.
(2)Rachelle B.
Pretty disappointing to say the least. They have gone down hill. The other person in my party ordered the rib tip basket and it was inedible. There were dried up bones in the basket and a fist sized ball of fat in the rib tips. We told our waitress who was unapologetic and did not tell a manager because no one came to our table. To top it off they left the food on the bill that he didn't eat. We won't be coming back.

Haven't been back there in a while because the food was so inconsistent but last night we were in the area and decided to give it another try. the bar was full but there were three empty tables in the dining room when we got Sat. it took a solid 10 minutes for us to even get greeted by a server. Then when she took our order she laughed when I asked for a water. I ordered the BBQ chicken salad and my boyfriend ordered the ribs. His ribs were alright they weren't very warm and my salad was iceberg lettuce mix out of a bag with one slice of cucumber and one slice of tomato and two tiny little rings of onion and some cheese. Then they gave me a warm packet of ranch like it had been sitting in the food window. $7 for a barbecue chicken salad with three little fried chicken strips on it and it was packed of iceberg lettuce and the only thing good about it was the barbecue sauce. it probably cost under $1 to make that salad. I think Ziffles has gone way downhill over the years and they're cutting back and skimping on the food to try and make an extra buck. Won't be back for their cheap salads or microwaved ribs.
(1)Mark A.
Great ribs and BBQ. Price and portions are killer. My only complaint which I'm can respect so I will not reduce a star is that they're not open on Sundays which I'm free to go to on that day. Oh well. Great yummy food.

We were home for the holidays and my parents wanted to take us to "The Best BBQ in Ft. Wayne" as they had been told. We arrived on a Saturday night and the place appeared rather busy. The 5 of us were promptly seated at a round table near the front of the restaurant. We immediately noticed how cold it was in the restaurant. We all put our coats back on and left them on! As we looked around, many other tables also had their coats on. The menu consists of many options that are all rather reasonable. All the men at my table were able to get the special of rib tips for $5! That is a really good deal! My mom and I split the Combo Basket and we had PLENTY of food. The Chicken was my favorite. Here is the good and bad of the overall meal. The good: - Chicken was super moist and tasty - Ribs had good BBQ sauce - Tasty BBQ sauce - Reasonable prices The bad: - Freezing cold in the restaurant - Slow to get our food - Fries were rubbery and cold - Wish there would have been BBQ sauce at the table I would come back but would bundle up for the cold atmosphere.
